First Contact Practitioner (FCP) - Physiotherapist
At our practice we now have access to a First Contact Practitioner who is an experienced physiotherapist who has the advanced skills necessary to assess, diagnose and recommend appropriate treatment or referral for musculoskeletal (MSK) problems on a patient's first contact with healthcare service.
Patients with back and joint pain, including conditions such as arthritis, will now be able to see a physiotherapist by speaking to the GP practice receptionist or by being referred by their GP.
If you have an acute (first time occurrence) problem with you neck, back, bones, joints, or muscles, please contact us on 0151 489 2833 and a member of our team will book you directly with our First Contact Practitioner. This can either be via the telephone or face to face.
Polite Note: If you fit the criteria below, you are not eligible to be referred to our First Contact Practitioner.
